  a rectangular garden has a length of 12 meters and a width of 8 meters . what is the perimeter of the garden ?

  The perimeter of a rectangle can be calculated by adding up twice the length and twice the width.

  So here the length of the garden is 12m and width is 8m so the perimeter will be

  P=2(L+W)

  P= 2(12+8)

  P= 2×20

  =40

  Therefore, perimeter of the Garden is 40m
