  The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 1: 2: 3. If the perimeter is 36 cm, find its sides.

  Let us assume that the side of the triangle are x,2x,3x.

  As the perimeter is given to be 36 so we can write

  x+2x+3x=36

  6x=36

  x=6

  So 2x=2×6=12

  3x=3×6=18

  Therefore the sides of the triangle are 6,12 and 18.
