Our national animal is Tiger. The tiger is a forest-dwelling wild mammal. It is a carnivorous mammal that preys on animals such as deer. They move quickly and are quite swift. Tigers’ bodies are red or orange in hue, with heavy black stripes on the surface. When mature, they grow to be 6 to 10 feet long and weigh over 660 pounds.
They were considered to be indestructible since they were at the top of the food chain. But then something happened, something as basic but complicated as people. Humans are exclusively to blame for the near-extinction of tigers on the planet. Panthera tigris Tigris is their scientific name.
It also has numerous subspecies, each with its own set of characteristics. The most typical character is one who moves at a breakneck pace. The number of tigers found in the wild has been decreasing. Tigers are hunters, and deer and other creatures have been pushed out of woods due to a shortage of sufficient trees. This has resulted in the tigers’ deaths as a result of a lack of food. The majority of the tigers die as a consequence of acute hunger after going nearly a week without nourishment. The situation is dire, and most environmental groups have designated them as endangered species. There have been efforts to conserve the tiger population by breeding them away from the wild and caring for them in specialized enclosures. These tigers are susceptible to illnesses, yet this is a very beneficial procedure that has resulted in some improvements in the tiger population in some nations.
