    Imagine a triangle in which the lengths of all three sides are equal. Can you determine the exact value of all three angles of this triangle? Why or why not?

    In an equilateral triangle, all three sides are of equal length. This means that if you have a triangle where all three sides have the same measurement, it is an equilateral triangle.
    For an equilateral triangle, the measure of each angle is the same. Let’s call this angle “x”. Since all three angles are equal, they will all have the measure of “x”.

    The sum of the angles in any triangle is always 180 degrees. Therefore, we can set up an equation to find the value of “x” in our equilateral triangle:

    x + x + x = 180

    When we combine like terms, we get:

    3x = 180

    To solve for “x”, we can divide both sides of the equation by 3:

    x = 60

    So, each angle in an equilateral triangle measures 60 degrees.
