  Volume of a Cylinder

  A building casts a shadow that is 15 meters long. At the same time, a 3-meter pole casts a shadow that is 1 meter long. What is the height of the building?

  The pole is of 3m height and the shadow is 1m that means that the shadow cast is 1/3rd the length of the object apply this logic to that of the building. The shadow of the building is 15m therefore the length of the building is 3 times that of the shadow that means length is 15×3=45m
