Should We Judge Anyone by Academic Scores?

Judging someone solely based on academic score is not at all fair. Academic scores are one of the criteria based on which we can judge a person, but that is not the only one; many more criteria hold even more importance and weight than academic scores. For doing a task in real life the bookish knowledge is the least helpful then a person needs practical knowledge and experience on the particular thing, and being successful in life does not depend on academics. Academic scores let us know the theoretical knowledge of a person though at times it cannot even do it properly as we are human beings, we might fall ill on the exam date or meet an accident or due to some critical reason could not attend an examination but that nowhere confirms that we don’t have theoretical knowledge on the same.

If we are to judge a person, we should look for all-around abilities like:

1. The confidence of the person.

2. Honesty

3. Academic performances along with co-curricular activities.

4. Problem-solving ability

5. Communication and other soft skills

6. Determination and punctuality towards the job

7. Positive and enthusiastic mind setup.
