Paper Honey Bee Craft
How to make a paper Honey Bee?
Paper Honey Bee Craft
Making a paper honey bee is a fun and creative craft project. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you make one:
Materials you’ll need:
Yellow and black construction paper or cardstock
Scissors
Glue or tape
Black marker or pen
Instructions:
Start by cutting out the body of the honey bee. Take the yellow construction paper and cut out a long, narrow rectangle. This will be the body of the bee. Make sure it’s long enough to create a bee shape.
Next, cut out two small circles from the black construction paper. These will be the bees’ eyes. Glue or tape them onto the front end of the yellow rectangle.
Cut out a pair of wings from the yellow paper. The wings should be shaped like elongated teardrops. Glue or tape them onto the back end of the yellow rectangle, near the top.
Now, cut out several thin strips of black paper. These will be the bees’ stripes. Glue or tape them onto the yellow body, spacing them evenly apart. Leave a small gap between each strip to create the appearance of stripes.
To create the bees’ antennae, cut two thin strips of black paper. Fold each strip in half and curl the ends slightly. Glue or tape them onto the top of the bee’s head.
Finally, use a black marker or pen to draw a small smiley face on the bee, just below the eyes.
