PCOS stands for Polycystic ovary syndrome. PCOD stands for Polycystic ovarian disease. These are a hormonal disorder that extends the ovary with small cysts on the outer edge of the ovaries. The reason for PCOS can be genetic or changes in the daily environment. The most common symptoms of PCOS are irregular menstruation, weight gain, unnatural hair growth, and aches on the skin. The most common symptom among these is weight gain. There are some ways we can lose the weight gained by PCOS. These aren’t any permanent problems if you take proper medication and treatment.

Exercise:-

Exercise is the best way to reduce weight. It boosts your strength and energy. There are many exercises we can do like brisk walking, jogging, cycling or swimming. It burns the fats in your body and maintains the hormonal balance and also improves ovulation and insulin levels. If you are dealing with PCOS, you should exercise twenty to thirty minutes at least 5 days a week.

Yoga:-

Yoga helps to relax our bodies. It can maintain hormonal imbalances. It causes balance, strength, and flexibility in our bodies. It helps to lose weight and gain strength. Sometimes, PCOS can cause depression, and yoga is the most effective way to cure depression. It also balances the hormones and manages insulin and blood sugar levels.

Stop eating sugar:-

It is a known fact that eating a lot of sugar can increase body weight. The body is the most common cause of PCOS. The studies show that people who eat sweets, sweet foods, and beverages tend to weigh more. They can gain 1.7 pounds in less than two months. Sugar can inflame fat cells, which increases weight gain.
