Description
This fun cut-and-paste activity helps children learn to identify different animals by matching each animal’s head with its correct body. Preparation
- Print and cut the animal body and head pages along the dotted lines.
- Glue the animal heads and bodies onto cardboard for added durability.
- Place the body sheets and head cut-outs on a flat surface.
How to Play
Option 1: Match the Animal
- Look at each headless animal body.
- Find the matching animal head.
- Paste the correct head onto the matching body.
- Continue until all the animals are complete.
Option 2: Name the Animals
- Match each head with its body.
- Say the name of each completed animal aloud.
- Talk about where each animal lives and its features.
Option 3: Quick Match Challenge
- Mix all the animal heads.
- Set a timer.
