Description
This fun Egg Cracking Surprise Animal Activity lets children reveal adorable hidden animals by tearing open brown paper eggs placed over animal pictures. As each egg “hatches,” children enjoy a surprise while building fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and curiosity through interactive play.
Materials Needed
- Printed animal egg sheets
- Printed brown egg sheet
- Glue stick or double-sided tape
- Child-safe scissors (optional)
Preparation
- Print the brown egg sheet 2–3 times (or as many copies as needed) along with the animal egg sheets.
- Place the brown egg sheet over the animal egg sheet, aligning the eggs.
- Glue or tape only the outer edges, leaving the egg areas free.
- Let the pages dry before starting the activity.
How to Play
Option 1: Egg Hatching Fun
- Start with the first egg.
- Carefully tear the brown egg using your fingers.
- Continue tearing until the hidden animal appears underneath.
- Guess the animal before revealing it completely.
- Repeat with all the remaining eggs.
Option 2: Guess the Animal
- Look at the partly cracked egg.
