Vitiligo is a skin condition. In this disease, parts of skin turn pale, comparatively of lighter color than the original skin tone. It is often seen as patches of white skin.

It is caused primarily when the particular cells under the skin are destroyed due to certain conditions.

There are particular symptoms for it. The most prominent ones are such as:

    1. white, oval shaped patches on the skin

    2. unpredictable size and spread of these patches

    3. whitening of hair at a vey early stage, premature too

    4. change of color at the inside of mouth and nose

    and many more.

The causes can be due to various factors, some of them are:

    1. not completely but some part of it can be inherited.

    2. can show up due to high exposure to sun.

    3. can show up due to high exposure to chemicals.

    4. can show due to tremendous stress.

    and many more.

This disease can in return give rise to many other diseases such as:

    1. depression

    2. skin cancer

    3. inflammation of iris

    4. sensitivity of skin

    and many more.

Treatment is available for these diseases. However, it is never recovered 100%. There is always chance to relapse and at times it leaves scars no matter what ever is done.

June 7, 2021 at 2:09 am in reply to: Do blind people dream in visual images?

Blind people do dream in visual images. It is indeed true.

Considering blind people, there are two main possibilities:

    1. A person cold be blind by birth.

    2. A person could have lost their eyesight later in life.

Considering case 1, a person can still dream with visual images, there lies a possibility. This is so, as though the person has not seen anything or felt anything, but dreams are events of our imagination. We dream about things we adore. Hence people who are blind by birth dream with visual images too as though they have not seen anything for once, but in dreams, imaginations can have any route.

Considering case 2, a person who has become blind later in their life, can definitely dream of visual images. This happens so because of the memories of the last thing they have seen before losing their eyesight. For such people, and many others, the dreams are consequences of event that remember at back of our mind. These are dreams that are combination of imagination, infactuation and reality. Hence their dreams can have real life incidents and objects.

Dreaming is possible for anyone ad everyone. We cant ask people about their dreams directly or check if they see visual images in dream or not. This is so because, we as normal people too, do not remember most of our dreams just after waking up too.

Some might see dream as a nightmare while some enjoy dreaming about unreal things.

    It all about perspective.

  • We often see for a matter of fact that we are not able fold paper more than seven times.

The reason behind this is quite straight.

    1. The thickness of paper

Thickness of paper, primarily decides the number of turns possible for a particular paper. For papers that are glossy, shiny and thin in material are considered to get more number of turns as scientifically the pattern of atoms inside them is more compact as compared to a normal paper. Each paper has different structure and thickness. This thickness decides whether the paper can moulded further or not. Thick papers like craft paper, that are considered small in size too, are not capable of being folded multiple times as in this case, the material of paper does not leave any space for it to get folded further.

    2. Size of the paper

When a paper of huge size is used, the folding becomes easier, resulting in making it possible to be folded multiple times. At the same time, if the paper is small in size, it becomes equally, or more difficult to make multiple folds on the same paper. The size of paper makes a small, but significant difference in the number of folds likely possible in a paper. Moreover, the pattern in which the paper is folded matters a lot. A pattern in which each turn gets and has lots of space gives more scope of folds in the paper. Too many short turns can choke the process of folding at quite early stage.

Prominently these are the reasons that are seen effecting the number of turns/folds that could be possible otherwise for a particular paper.

  • It is observed that, not all cups are efficient to be used in the microwave.

The basic and main reason behind this is he nature and material of the object that we place inside the microwave.

Different objects react differently inside the microwave.

For example, metal objects when placed inside the microwave get heated, but can be used for long durations with proper breaks in between. While on the other hand, if we place plastic objects inside the microwave, it can explode. This can be extremely risky for the things and people in the surrounding and can also damage the microwave itself.

Hence it is very important to follow the user manual/guide that are usually provided with the microwave unit while purchasing.

Improper usage can cause hazardous problems.

When we sleep, we in other words, go to the hibernation mode. We sleep to attain peace and relax after the physically and mentally worked out day we go through.

When we sleep, our mind enters resting mode. We feel relaxed. However sometimes we do dream. Dreams are consequences of the last thoughts we have in the back of our minds. Sometimes, we also dream about things that could even happen for real in future.

We often wake up in between dreams, due to some noise or some break or uneasiness. This could be due to bad dream or maybe some clatter around.

In sleep, we are totally not aware if something happens around. So any sudden noise externally, can wake us up as a instant response.

June 5, 2021 at 1:58 am in reply to: What are the importance of examinations?

Examinations play a very vital role for assessing our skills that we learn throughout the year.

It is important, as without having a particular deadline, human brain usually does not take things seriously.

Having deadlines, target and a healthy competition among our peer group helps us think out of the box and work harder to outshine and get recognition.

It does become dreadful at times, but the efforts put in with other assignments and homeworks makes one self-sufficient and also builds the cognitive skills.

It also helps in building the power to do multi-tasking. We belong to era where handling multiple things at the same time with the same efficiency is important.

June 3, 2021 at 11:56 pm in reply to: What are plant harmones?

Plant hormones are also known as phytohormones.

In general, plants need carbon dioxide, sunlight and water for healthy growth. Their development depends on these basic facts the most.

These factors itself are known as plant hormones.

Biologically, plant hormones are present at a very low concentration in the plants, though these hormones are generated in all parts of the plant and are also transmitted to different parts.

These hormones make plant act synergistically or individually.

  • Yes, I agree that overpopulation is an environmental issue.

Overpopulation causes many problems collectively. More population means, more need of basic resources like food, water, etc. These are yet basic, as these kids grow up, more funds requirement, more buildings for space, more of everything in the same place. This might not seem as big as an issue to us now, but in the long run, it will destroy the planet.

Considering the current situations itself, the world is more or less more than required, filled with population, which is in hunt for resources for livelihood. In my locality itself, I see trees being cut, sea lines being extended for roadways and expansion. Moreover these roads are not made of cement, in order to avoid formation of puddles. The drawback here is, the groundwater want be formed as it would earlier.

More of people, means more travelling too. More travelling means more vehicles, which in return will cause air pollution.

Our carelessness has already created water pollution to massive extent.

These all points add together in the bad shape of our environment.

There are NGOs that help in family planning and also share awareness about the results of ones step.

It is important to make these campaigns available worldwide, in order to protect the environment.

    This is an interesting question.

Indeed, the human race is blessed with intelligence, and is totally different from that of animals. On the contrary, it is true that the animals are equally intelligent too. Then the question arises, where does the difference exist.

The answer is quite straight. there is difference been vision and wisdom. We all are blessed with intelligence and wisdom, some with more, some with less. But the concept over-population does not effect anyone, despite their wisdom. This is so, because human beings lack vision in this sphere.

There are multiple campaigns that help educate about over-population, there are firms that help with family planning. But, people do not understand the consequences, and moreover, research claim that over-population is widely growing due to carelessness.

People in rural areas, are considered not ready to understand the importance of contraceptives. People in urban areas too, fail to understand the consequences, they are uneducated literates.

In order to control the conditions, it is important to fix these problems.

Natural air plays a very vital and significant role in order to have good health.

We belong to a generation where in we are under tremendous pressure and mental stress. We don’t get proper time to sleep, have food, relax or even maintain our work-life balance at some times.’

It is very important to detoxify ourselves once in a time. It helps concentrate and get our things together better. It helps clear mind. Majority of stress management begins from in to out, and sometimes, doing nothing, sitting, breathings at normal pace, with good air feels blissful and more relaxing than any other holiday trips, for example.

There are theories too, that prove that the more relaxing color is considers as green, which means being connected to nature.

Nature has its power to make us feel relaxed, relieved and stress-free.
