The computer is an electronic device that can be given commands to fulfill. Computers are useful for a wide range of tasks and are widely used in all fields, some of them being business, entertainment, medicine, and science. A computer’s basic components include:

    1. Central Processing unit(CPU): It is in charge of carrying out commands, making computations, and managing the other parts of the computer. Since it handles the majority of processing duties, the CPU, or central processing unit, is frequently referred to as the “brain” of the computer.

    2. Input devices: Input devices are used to input instructions into the computer. Devices such as keyboard and mouse are primary examples. A keyboard input commands into the computers through text and a mouse operates the cursor on the computers which sorts commands. The input data is then converted into a binary language which is readable by the computer.

    3. Output devices: Displays the output of a given command. It includes the monitor and printer. It displays output in the form of images, texts, videos, and audio. The monitor shows the input in a visual form. A printer converts the soft copy of the output into a hard copy.

    4. Hardware: Hardware contains the permanent storage of computer memory, software applications, and computer files. An SSD or HDD card classifies as a hard drive.

    5. Random Access Memory(RAM): It is a type of computer memory that stores data that the computer needs to access quickly. This type of storage is temporary which means that once the computer is turned off, the data vanishes.

    6. Motherboard: The motherboard is the main circuit board of the computer. It connects the various components of the computer. A motherboard is responsible for connecting and communicating between the CPU, the RAM, and other input or output devices.

The cell organelle responsible for the main activities of a cell and one which contains all the genetic material is known as the nucleus. It is also known as the command center of the cell. It houses the Deoxyribonucleic acid or the DNA. The DNA contains the genetic information of the cell which dictates the structure and the function of the cell. Thus, the nucleus controls the hereditary information of the cell. It also regulates transcription, replication, and translation. Apart from all this, the nucleus is involved in protein synthesis, cell division, and cell growth.

A nucleus consists of the following components:

    1. Nucleolus: It is the innermost part of the nucleus. It houses chromatin, the genetic material. The nucleolus serves as an intermediary in the transfer of genetic material from one generation to another. Apart from that, it also facilitates cell division and RNA formation. The nucleolus disappears during cell division.

    2. Nuclear envelope: It is the outermost layer of the nucleus. It is connected to the cytoplasm and is useful in the exchange of material inside and outside of the nucleus. It is attached to the endoplasmic reticulum and thus helps in protein synthesis. During cell division, the nuclear envelope breaks down.

    3. Nucleoplasm: The inner matrix of the nucleus. It is mainly composed of water, dissolved ions, and chromatin. The nucleoplasm facilitates easy transport inside the nucleus. It also provides support and structure to the nucleus. The nucleolus floats in the nucleoplasm.

    4. Chromatin: Chromatin is the genetic material inside the nucleus. It is a condensed form of the chromosome.

    5. Pores: The nuclear pores are used to facilitate the transport of microcomponents from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, or vice versa.

Connected to the nucleus is the Endoplasmic Reticulum which is useful in protein synthesis, and lipid metabolism.

What is that? referring to an unknown object.

While this and that refer to singular objects, Those is used when referring to plural objects. Example: Those flowers look pretty. Those indicate a plural amount of flowers. Those has a similar use as that of this and that, albeit for plural objects, nouns, and verbs.

The process through which a liquid transforms into a gas or vapour is known as evaporation. It happens when the intermolecular interactions holding together a liquid’s molecules are overcome by the molecules’ ability to absorb energy from their environment. As a result, the liquid molecules separate and disperse, turning into a gas or vapour.

In many natural and industrial systems, evaporation is a crucial process. Evaporation is a crucial component of the water cycle in the natural world because it causes water from oceans, lakes, and rivers to evaporate and generate clouds in the atmosphere. Then, as precipitation, this water returns to the soil, replenishing freshwater supplies.

Evaporation is utilised in a range of industrial operations, including the manufacturing of chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals. As an illustration, to create a concentrated alcohol solution, water is evaporated from a mixture of fermented grains or fruit.

On the environment, evaporation can have detrimental repercussions. For instance, water scarcity in arid areas can result from water evaporating from lakes and rivers. The release of water vapour, a strong greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere as a result of water evaporation from the earth’s surface can also contribute to climate change.

To sum up, evaporation is the process through which a liquid transforms into a gas or vapour. It is an important process in both natural and industrial systems and has both positive and negative effects on the environment.
