The village is the pride of our country, India. The most calm, composed, and serene place in the whole world. A lush green field, an unpolluted environment are all that come to our mind when the word village arises. The ambiance of that place helps in maintaining the physical and mental health of a person. Agriculture is a vast sector in India and plays a major role in India’s economy.
People stay in unison in villages no matter what. People live in a village like a big grand joint family. They are always there for each other. They learn to share and care from a very young age. Since agriculture is a vast sector, many people are involved in this sector. Agriculture is the bread and butter for many people. The financial condition of farmers is not very good, they don’t have access to advanced technologies and that makes this job a little difficult for them.
People living in villages have a very ordinary lifestyle, they know the importance of managing with limited resources. Some of them even live in kaccha houses or, we may say, temporary houses, made up of clay and mud, thatched roofs made of straws or burnt clay tiles. Villages don’t even have many amenities. There are limited schools and hospitals out there. People are not aware of the importance of education. Hence, the literacy rate is very less in villages. Their life is totally different from the urban population.
The transportation is also not very smooth in the village area. There is too much love among all the people. They tend to celebrate all festivals together and spend as much time together as they can. They are always ready to help each other when in need. Although, the life of those people may look soothing to us but living in a village area also has some drawbacks attached with it.

Education is the one tool that differentiates us from other living beings on Earth. It is the most necessary tool in everyone’s life. It empowers humans and makes them ready to face the difficulties of life. It makes human beings the smartest among all other creatures. Education is the weapon that builds confidence in a person and makes them presentable in front of other living beings. However, it is necessary to get educated, but our country has not made it mandatory for anyone.
Educational awareness is being spread throughout the country. Many initiatives have been taken to educate the people of this country at least, educate the young generation. Since the young generation is the future of this country, steps are being taken to provide them at least the basic education. Many people are still not fully aware of the significance of education. Once they get to know, they will surely consider education a necessity in life.
Education is also considered an important tool for eradicating poverty from the country and make this country a better place to live in. It enhances the scenario in companies and also benefits the country as a whole. The higher the level of education, the higher will be the development of the country. It enhances career options for people Education is also responsible for providing a good lifestyle to people. It also intensifies the status of people. Also, when a person gets well educated, he can be trusted to make good decisions in life. Even the government are taken steps to educate children. The government is setting up schools in rural areas so that children can go and study. When the government can take this initiative, then why not us? People should understand the importance of education and work on it.

Rath Yatra is the famous Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Jagannath, who is an avatar of Lord Vishnu. This festival is celebrated at the Gundicha temple, situated in Puri, India, either in the month of June or July. According to the Hindu calendar, this occasion falls on the second day of the ‘Ashaadh’ month. This festival has been celebrated since the olden days of the Puranas. Millions of pilgrims get together to celebrate this auspicious occasion. On this auspicious occasion, the deities of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadr, and Devi Subhadra are worshipped inside the premises of the temple. It is assumed that on the day of Rath Yatra, Lord Jagannath visits the temple with his siblings on their chariots.
Rath Yatra signifies integration and equality. It is also known as the Chariot festival and gravels the way for the devotees who are otherwise restricted to enter the temples to see the deities. On this occasion, all its devotees pull the chariots as a procession for three kilometers, permitting the bhaktas to offer puja and offerings on their way. It is believed that whoever pulls the chariots gets a lifetime of happiness and prosperity. Also, his life gets filled with serenity, joy, and peace. The Chariot parade starts at the Badadanda and progresses towards the Gundicha Temple for nine days. And then they return to the Jagannath temple. Every year, the chariots are newly carved and substituted for the deities. The idols of the three deities are superseded once every 12 years. The ceremony of Rath Yatra goes on for 12 days. Many rituals are performed showing the dedication towards Rath Yatra.

Racism can be described as the feeling that individual races of people have some peculiar cultural features that are defined by hereditary factors and consequently make some races genetically superior to others. The belief that one race has natural superiority over the others created abusive behavior towards the members of other races.
The belief that a particular race or religion or caste has distinctive cultural traits and that they are much superior to others is completely illogical. There is no such thing as superiority or inferiority. We should consider all people as equal and should not be biased because of any reason, either color, caste, creed, or sex. We all know that this is wrong, but we have been following this for ages now. It is like the theory that our ancestors have set and we are bound to follow all those rules and regulations.
We should never judge people according to their color, or the way they speak. We should consider everyone equal and eliminate racism from our country. Though it is almost negligible in the urban cities, but in some of the rural areas, racism still prevails with all its power. The people are getting educated, and with this education, racism should have been extinguished by now. India is a land of diverse cultures. People having different castes live with each other. Even when we go to schools or colleges, all the students having different castes sit with each other, make friends irrespective of their castes. But as we grow older, we are taught to discriminate against people on the basis of their color and sometimes sex as well. Women, in our country, are not given much importance and they are degraded for no reason. Even in offices, they have a low grade pay than men. In rural areas, they are not allowed to work. They are just asked to stay at home and manage household chores.

A combination of trustworthiness, reliability, faith in success, and the strength to face the results is termed confidence. All these attributes are interlinked. The word ‘Confidence’ comes from the Latin word ‘Fider,’ which means trust. Confidence helps people in building healthy relationships.
People with confidence are a lot healthier and suited for any profession. They get a sense of leadership after building confidence in them. It takes time and inner ability to build confidence. In every area, confidence is one such thing that is required by all. Be it a front-end or a backend worker, everyone is expected to have confidence in them to perform any sort of work. Even when someone goes for an interview, the first thing that the interviewer sees is confidence. It is said that their knowledge is tested afterward but the first and foremost thing that is taken into consideration by anyone is confidence.
Confidence plays a crucial role in life these days. People need to have trust in themselves which is further required to have better productivity at work and also for building a strong relationship. Even when a person has enough skill, but lack of confidence can take down the person in life. Lack of confidence is often seen in people which gets them demotivated. On the other side, being overconfident about something also does not do good to anyone. Having the right amount of confidence is necessary these days. It makes the person presentable in front of others. All that is required by people today is having enough confidence that they can stand in front of other people without being demotivated. It boosts self-esteem and makes it easier for us to love ourselves.

Ethics is a branch of philosophy dealing with the issue of morality. It implies the concepts of what right and wrong conducts are. Ethics define how a person should act in some specific situations. It is not a new term, but it has been there since the Stone Age. Different religions and many philosophers have also made a substantial contribution to ethics.
There are different branches of ethics. First of all, comes descriptive ethics. Descriptive ethics include what people actually consider right and wrong. Accordingly, laws are made regarding that and if they are even acceptable or not. The moral principles of society keep on changing from time to time. However, the basic ethics remain the same. Descriptive ethics are also called comparative ethics. They are given the name comparative ethics as they are used to compare the ethics of past and present scenarios. Also, they are used to compare the ethics of different societies as well.
Then comes the next branch of ethics- Normative Ethics. Normative Ethics deals with some specific norms or a set of considerations. These norms indicate how people should act in some given situations. These ethics set out the rightness or wrongness of people’s actions. Normative Ethics are also known as prescriptive ethics. This name is given as there are principles involved with these ethics and those principles determine whether the actions of people are right or wrong in different situations.
An abstract way of analyzing ethics is called Meta-Ethics. They do not deal with whether the actions are right or wrong, rather they question what morality is.
Applied Ethics includes a philosophical examination of certain public and private life problems. The examination of those issues generally takes place from a moral standpoint. This branch of ethics is generally used by professions like doctors, teachers, etc.

Discrimination is the state when all individuals are not treated equally and not given equal rights. Every individual in the community yearns for equal status, opportunities, and equal rights. People generally say these days that everyone is treated equally but they are not. Discrimination usually exists because of cultural differences, geographical differences, and gender. Inequality on the basis of gender is something that is not appreciated, but it is seen many times in many companies. There are many areas where equal opportunities are not provided to women.
We are in the 21st century, and even now, women are not treated equally as men. It is generally believed that women are more talented than men, and it has been proved many times, but society is not yet ready to accept this fact. Gender equality is the term used when equal opportunities in the fields of politics, economics, education, and health are provided to both men and women.
As per the World Economic Forum’s gender gap ranking, India holds the rank 108 out of 149 countries. The rank should be a major concern in the country as it signifies the immense gap between the opportunities given to women when compared to men. The structure in India is such that women are neglected in many fields like education, health, finance, etc. They are just limited to household chores which should not be the scene here. There are many places in India where women are considered as a burden and they are not allowed to go to school and study as well. Also, a preference for sons prevails in many areas in India.
We should understand that women are the part and parcel of any family. When it comes to flexibility, they can manage their home and offices at the same time. If equal opportunities are not given to them, they will be led down and won’t be able to achieve big milestones which they are obviously capable of.

Black lives matter was an International Activist Movement, started in the United States in the year 2013. It was initiated to fight racism and violence against black people. The name Black Lives Matter implies the killing of black people by the police that could not be justified by them. It is said that black people were been killed more by the police rather than other people.
Society should not discriminate against people on the basis of their color. Whether black or white, everyone should get an equal amount of respect from others. The lives and humanity of black people are also the same as that of white people. The activists of Black Lives Matter have held many powerful protests in the cities across the United States as well as internationally. Black Lives Matter Global Network Association is the main organization that gives affiliation to the other chapters running in those states. It is a non-profit organization present in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Black Lives Matter was started as an online movement initially using the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter on various social media platforms. It was started by three black community organizers- Patrisse Khan- Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tormeti. The movement was started in 2013, and even if we see it today, not much has changed. Black people in those countries are still not treated properly. Even in the year 2020, many people were killed by their police officials. Students from their childhood years have been taught not to discriminate against any profession, and that all professions are equally important, then why can’t they be taught not to discriminate against black people.

Every organism in this world has a unique role to play and a specific place in the food cycle. All of them contribute to supporting the existence of life on this planet. The presence of animals is necessary as it maintains the balance in the ecosystem in today’s world. Every animal is vital as without even, one the food cycle would be disturbed. Animals also serve as companions. They help manage our stress, anxiety, depression. Animals are termed human beings friends’ as they are always loyal to them.
These days, many people are been observed killing animals for their personal selfish reasons. Animal cruelty is the intention of killing animals and showing violence towards them. Animals are being treated poorly by human beings. Just because they can’t speak, they are being violated by mankind for their own selfish reasons. We, as human beings, should understand that animals are also living organisms who have all the senses just that they can’t speak. But they do express their love towards humans. They do have feelings. Whether domestic or not, they should not be treated poorly.
Animal cruelty is being carried out in various countries in the veil of experimental studies or research. It has also been observed that animals kept in sanctuaries or zoos are not given proper care. Many people kill animals just to fulfill their passion for animal hunting. What we should understand is that they are also living organisms and have a right to lead their life the way they want to. Cruelty towards needs to be addressed and some serious steps should be taken against the people following this practice. Cruelty towards animals has led to many deaths, and many animals have become extinct because of the unwanted killing of animals. Animal cruelty is a punishable offense as it leads to the death of innocent animals.

Research can be defined as the systematic or in-depth study of anything in order to establish facts and arrive at any conclusion. These days, knowledge is the one thing that is expanding too fast and we need to enhance our skills as well to cope up in this running world. Knowledge forms the very basis of the world.
A diverse set of experiments and observations are involved in the research process. The experiments that are performed during the process are to prove that the acquired knowledge is not just a hypothesis. They make sure to prove the existence of those facts. Research plays a crucial role in ascertaining the truth in the scientific world. Research also helps us to go beyond the knowledge that we have acquired. It helps us in getting a glimpse of an altogether different world.
Research takes place in every area be it the agriculture department or developing any new vehicle. The research and Development department is there in almost every company. Companies generally have some research done on their product before launching it in the real-time market.
Research has supported the life of mankind. With every new idea that is born, there exists a person who has laid his day and night on the study of that idea and its existence in the world. With research, the Earth can be made an altogether different and a new place to live. A better future can be built with the help of research.
Research has helped people in a lot of ways. It has helped to cure several diseases. It has helped in the fabrication of new technologies in this fast-growing world. It gives a chance to sneak into the future and make it a better place to live in. Hard work is the key to bring success in the field of research.

MemberJuly 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Why does our body need vitamin and minerals?Since our childhood, we have been told that we should have a balanced diet to have a healthy lifestyle. A balanced diet includes all the nutrients essential for our well-being like carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and roughage. All these nutrients have some important roles in our bodies.
Vitamins and minerals are necessary for our body as they have hundreds of roles to perform in our body. It is generally said that having too much of anything can harm us in different ways. Similarly, having too much of these nutrients may also harm us in one or the other way. Having a healthy diet remains the best way to get adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals.
Every day our body generates skin, muscles, and bones. It churns out the red blood cells that transport nutrients and oxygen to various body parts. It also transmits nerve signals through the brain and body pathways. It also forms chemical messengers that commute from one organ to another, resulting in the instructions that help sustain our lives. And for this, our body required some raw materials which include around 30 vitamins, minerals, and some other components that our body certainly need but cannot manufacture on its own.
Vitamins and minerals can prove to be very essential for our body. They do help in converting food into energy and also repair cellular damage. They help us in healing the wounds, and also by boosting our immune system.
Vitamins and minerals are required in fewer amounts by our body, so they are also named micronutrients. People who fail to have those few amounts of vitamins and minerals end up having some serious diseases like scurvy, blindness, rickets, etc.
One should regularly consume a proper and healthy balanced diet in order to keep their bones and muscles function in a proper way.

Over the last few years, fast and some dramatic changes took place in the field of information technology. And this has brought up new concepts of marketing in which buyer and seller do not see each other face to face but, their relationship goes on. The whole transaction takes place through online communication. This is what E-commerce is all about. Deals are carried out online with the help of telecommunication and networking with the relevant hardware.
In E-commerce, the internet provides information about goods and services to eligible customers. Everything is carried out through the internet. Starting from showcasing the products to its customer services to the payment options, everything is taken care of by the internet.
There are various advantages of E-commerce to the consumers.
1. More choice- Consumers get more choice on a single platform, they can buy products from far away places without going there as well.<div>
2. Customized products- People can get their products customized without wasting much of their time. These days T-shirts are also customized as per the requirements of the people.
3. One is not required to go from store to store in search of their products. They can order anything sitting at their home with ease, filling all the details online and getting the products delivered at their doorstep.
4. Reduced cost- The inventory is reduced, so the cost of products also is much lesser than when we go to the shops and buying the same product.
In addition to the advantages, E-commerce also comes with some disadvantages.
1. The first and foremost shortcoming of E-commerce is that we cannot touch and feel the product. We can just see the description of the product but cannot see that.</div><div>
2. Sometimes, while doing the online payment, consumers face an issue doing the payment, either not receiving an OTP, or a network error. Most people can not even trust online payments.
Every new feature has some advantages and disadvantages. And our country is now working on getting everything digitalized. People are now becoming used to digitalization.

Water purification is the process of removing undesirable substances, chemicals, suspended solids, and harmful gases from water. The main aim of purifying water is to make it fit for drinking purposes. Also, the purified water can be used for a variety of things like using that water for pharmaceutical things, chemical, industrial, or pharmacological applications. Water can be purified by a variety of processes. They may be physical processes like sedimentation, filtration, and distillation. Or chemical processes like flocculation and chlorination. Water can also be purified using biological processes like sand filters or biologically active carbon. Water can also be purified by using electromagnetic radiation using ultraviolet light.
Water purification may reduce the number of suspended particles, bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc. Visual inspection cannot decide if the water is pure or not. Below are some processes that can help in the purification of water.
Boiling– Water can be treated by the process of boiling, but that is not enough. It may filter out bigger particles from the water but cannot separate contaminants that are present from an unknown source.Chlorination- It is a much older technique that was used to purify water. This is the process in which a mild bleach with approximately 5% chlorine is added to the water. This mixture acts as an oxidant and kills micro-organisms, making water reliable for consumption.Distillation- A water purification technique that requires collecting condensed water after evaporation. This process ensures that water is free of all the suspended contaminants. Solar Purification- This process involves filling a plastic bottle with water and keeping it horizontally in the sunlight. The ultraviolet radiation of the sun acts on this water making it safe for use. When the plastic bottle is filled with water, it is shaken a bit so as to activate oxygen in it. This process effectively kills the bacteria and viruses present in the water.

Every science student knows that light travels in a straight line. But now, it has been proved by researchers that light can travel in a curve without any external influence. It is very well known for the fact that light bends. When the light rays travel from air to water, they take an explicit turn. For instance, a stick dipped into water appears to tilt more towards the surface. Whereas, when in space, light rays passing near massive objects, it is observed that light travels in curves. For each of these examples, there are different reasons for light traveling in different positions. For water, it is due to the change in the optical property of air and water, called the refractive index. While for space, it is due to the nature of gravity.
The amount of light that bends around any surface or corner depends on the exact situation. For visible light, the amount of light that bends around corners is negligible if seen by naked eyes. The ability of light to bend around corners is called diffraction.
Light travels way differently than it is shown in ray diagrams. The ray diagram showing the beam of light rays traveling in a straight line is a bit over-simplified. In reality, there are many procedures that run behind that concept. Light is always waving against itself, leading to the generation of internal interference of different wave elements. And that is what we call internal diffraction. Diffraction causes a beam of light to slowly spread out as it progresses so that a part of light bends away from the straight-line motion of the light rays. Some of the light rays may turn away from the forward direction, which is a form of bending around corners, even though there is no corner!

Like human beings have hearts, trees have roots. Roots are the most significant organ of the trees. They are mainly used to bind the trees with the soil. Also, they are used to transport food, water, and minerals to all the parts of the plant. Most often, they grow below the soil but, they can also grow above the ground, especially water.
The root is the descending portion of the plant which usually penetrates inside the soil and assists the plant in the process of fixation and absorption. The root that develops from the radicle is known as the primary root. The primary roots further give rise to lateral branches that are termed secondary branches. The branches that become further branched are known as tertiary branches.
Plants basically have three types of root systems- Fibrous roots, taproots, and adventitious roots. In many monocotyledons, also known as monocots, the primary roots either die very early or their growth stops after a certain limit. New roots develop from the base of the radicle which are called seminal roots. After some time, several roots develop from the base of the plumule. These roots are fiber-like and are therefore known as fibrous roots. They are collectively known as the fibrous root system.
The roots that are found in dicotyledon plants or dicots are known as taproots. These roots are formed by the continuous growth of radicles. Taproots are generally found in the Mango tree. The roots that develop from primary roots are called Fibrous roots, the roots that develop from radicles are known as taproots, the roots that do not develop from either of these are known as adventitious roots. They may develop from any other region of the plants’ body like leaves, stems, etc.
