    Endocrine Glands:-

    1. They do not have ducts.

    2. They release Hormones.

    3. Secretory products are released directly into the bloodstream, eventually reaching the target organ.

    4. Thyroid glands, Parathyroid Glands, Pituitary glands are some examples

    Exocrine Glands:-

    1. They contain ducts.

    2. They release sweat, enzymes, mucus and sebum.

    3. Secretory products are released to an internal organ or the external surface through a duct.

    4. Salivary Glands, Liver, Oesophagus glands are some examples.

    Environmental issues are the harmful effects of human activities on the environment. These include pollution, overpopulation, waste disposal, climate change, global warming, the greenhouse effect, etc. <div>

    Pollution:- The introduction of harmful materials into the environment.

    Overpopulation:- The state whereby the human population rises to an extent exceeding the carrying capacity of the ecological setting

    Waste disposal:- The removal, disposal, recycling, or destruction of unwanted materials such as waste generated by agriculture, domestic use, or industrial products.

    Climate change:- The long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns.

    Global Warming:- Global warming is the long-term heating of Earth’s surface observed since the pre-industrial period (between 1850 and 1900) due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning, which increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in Earth’s atmosphere.

    Greenhouse effect:- The way in which heat is trapped close to Earth’s surface by “greenhouse gases

    The primary reason for adding a blue die to kerosene is for safety. Kerosene is often used in various application such as heating, lighting and eviation. By adding a blue dye to kerosene, it becomes visually distinguishable from other liquids like water or gasoline, which helps prevent accidental contamination or improper usage

    Given

    3(x + 4) – 2(2x – 1) = 5(x – 3) + 2

    Sol:-

    => 3x+12-4x+2= 5x-15+2

    => 3x-4x-5x= -15+2-12-2

    => -6x= -27

    => Dividing by -1 on both sides, we get

    => 6x= 27

    Therefore, x= 27/6 or 4.5

    Compound interest is typically found in various financial contexts, such as investments, loans, and savings accounts. It refers to the interest that accumulates not only on the initial amount of money (principal), but also on any previously earned interest.<div>

    The formula for compound interest can be represented as

    A= P(1+r/n)^nt

    Where

    A= Total amount

    P= Initial principal balance

    r= interest rate

    n= number of times interest applied per time period

    t= number of time period elapsed

    Given: 3(x+4)- 2(2x-1)= 7

    On solving

    3x+12-4x+2=7

    On rearranging we get,

    => 3x-4x= 7-12-2

    => -x= -7

    Multiplying both sides with -1 we get

    => x=7

    So, the value of x is 7.

    Let the present age of A be “x” years and B be “y” years.

    A. T. P

    x-5= 3(y-5)…. 1

    x+10= 2(y+10)….. 2

    x-5= 3y-15…. From 1

    x-3y= -10…….3

    x+10= 2y+20……. From 2

    x-2y= 10…. 4

    On solving eq. 3 and 4, we get

    x= 50

    y=20

    Therefore, the present age of A is 50 years and B is 20 years.

    Mental maths can be defined as calculations which are made by the active presence of brain and effect our thinking process.

    For example, In a MCQ, it is given 5,25,125, _____. It can be clearly seen when the numbers are multiplied by 5, each time it is giving the right answer and by calculating mentally, you can say that in the blank, The answer will be 625 as if we multiply 125 with 5, we get 625.

    This was a example of Mental Maths.

    Hope you understand! Have a great day!

    June 22, 2023 at 4:37 pm in reply to: Why any number is not divisible by zero?

    It is not possible to divide anything by 0, as the whole calculation will become undefined as we cannot multiply any number by zero because the value will become zero by itself.<div>

    On the other hand, if 0 is present in the numerator of a division, the value becomes 0, because any number (except 0, which will make it undefined) in the denominator will give zero only when it is multiplied by zero.

    Hope you understand!

    We know,

    Multiples of 9 = 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81,90….

    Multiples of 15= 15,30,45,60,75….

    So the first common multiple of 9 and 15 is 45.
