International nurses day is celebrated on 12th may every year from 1965. It is celebrated on this day as it is the birth anniversary of the founder of modern nursing Florence nightingle. The theme of the nurse of of 2021 was A voice to lead- a vision for future healthcare. In this tough time of pandemic nurses are the one who have there 100% leaving there family, children, home just to treat the patients and save them. Nurses have proved to be the god on the planet after doctors. More and more nurses are being infected, dying of covid but there are not feared by the virus. Nurses should not be blamed for someone’s death as all the patients are equal in her eyes and she will do whatever it costs to save her patient only if the patient is in the situation. Whether it is dutying in the covid ward or vaccinating the patients nurses are giving there best. Nurses are the one who care of the patients from the medicines to food water and also sanitation of the rooms, hospitals. Nurses are the frontline workers and are totally exposed to the virus. They should be supplied with thr proper barriers that can protect them from the virus like the face shields, surgical masks, sanitisers, gloves, head masks. There are a lot of nurses who died due to covid. Maybe because they were busy treating the patients when actually she needed the treatment. Let’s celebrate this day with hope and pray for the well being of the nurses and doctors that if they’ll stay fit we’ll also stay fit and even there is a family waiting for her at home and want her to stay fit. Co operate them and let her do the treatment she knows her job very well, atleast better than us.

I think lockdown is indeed a solution for the present situation of covid. It is very important because then only the chain will break. If school, colleges shops will open people will have to go out and as it is said that virus is in the air people just won’t be able to protect themselves. Children of the age below 18 are at the highest risk of getting infected as there is no vaccine been launched till now for them. They need to be more careful as in this 2nd wave they are the one being effected the most. This time the adults age group has also been effected alot. Lots of health, fit people left us . Lots of doctors and nurses gave their lifes in treating us. For saving ourselves all we can do it to maintain social distancing, avoid physical contact washing and sanitising our hands. If a person has co morbidity such as diabetes, blood sugar, tuberculosis etc it is important for them to maintain the level as rise in the level is also causing deaths. If a person is suffering from covid they should surely go for some blood test and scan for the lungs as these are part effected by the virus the most.
According to me rise of the 2nd of covid is also because as the situation came under control after the first lockdown all the things were opened again, people became careless, they started thinking that they have this biological war but that was not true. This wave is much more dangerous that the first wave and more people have died of all the age groups in this wave so the people need to be more carefull and take care of them and there families. Stay at home ,then only the chain of the virus will break.

Empowerment is a term which is used frequently in todays time. The meaning of empowerment is to have authority and power to take decision for onself. Women empowerment is very important because now a day woman walk shoulder to shoulder with man. There is no way a woman can bhi differeciated from a man in the aspect of studies, career and labour so women have the right to take there own decision and there should not be any man representing her thoughts or ideas. She is the one who should be taking decision for herself and also the responsibility of the outcome. There has been a traditional mind set that a woman needs either her father or her husband to take decision for her and she has to obey it but now the things and the scenerio have changed a lot. Even in our present cabinate we have women minister like Smriti Irani, Nirmala sitharaman, Harsimrit kaul badal who have been given the opportunity to take decision for the country’s welfare in there recpective departments. Now a days women are educated enough to analyse the situation, face it’s outcome and take responsibility and decision. They should be trusted in this aspect as everyone knows woman are more likely to manage the responsibility and are multi talented.
Everyone above the age of 18 have the right to take there own decisions and whether it is and independent decision or in the influence of some other person. Parents should start teaching there daughters that they are the one who will have to take decision for themselves and teach them what is wrong and write. Parents should make sure that there children specially the daughters start taking decision for an early age and also face it outcomes so that till the time they become independent they now how to think in which situation. It will help them to become more responsible.

Indeed it is very true that we live in a gender biased society. Here people think that women are the house keepers and men are the only one who take important decisions for the family. Even in the advertisements it can be seen that in the advertisements of cars, buildings, houses loans men are shown and in the advertisements of sari, cooker etc women are shown. In the most of the gold men are shown gifting there wives gold. These kinds of ads are promoting gender stereotypes. But that is not correct, ads should made with the intention to upgrade people’s thought. Generally it is seen that for an unmarried girls her brother or father are the one taking decision and for a married women her husband is the one taking all her decisions but why is it soo men and women are equally educated now and both of them are equally capable of taking decisions. The boys of the house should also be knowing how to cook for there own survival and not only girls are responsible for doing the household chores. Some time we see women leaving her job due to her husband’s transfer this is also not correct why should a women only sacrifice for her family and love is she the only one responsible for such stuffs. From a very young age girls and boys should be treated equally and girls should be taught they are not weak as compared to men in any aspect. Instead women are multitalented, they can handle work, home kids everyone without complaining if she is given a chance. A girl’s and a boy’s both of thems career is equally important and both should be respecting each others work, stress and help in fulfilling the responsibilities together and not only one should be doing all the things for the family.

For the student covid-19 brought a lot of struggle, opportunities and time. Initially when the pandemic started, there was loss of studies and then the whole platform was converted into the online mode. At first teachers too had to face problem to handle the teaching on the internet but gradually with patience and experience everything started going smooth. But there are problems that just cannot be solved like the internet connection, problem in the device. These remain a permanent problem in the online mode of education. But the teachers are trying there best to teach there students well in the easiest way possible. But it has a positive side as well. As the students remain at there home they get a lot of extra time which can be used effectively. With a productive life style, positive outlook and investing the time in a particular direction which is good for the person will definitely give a bright result.
This pandemic has been a tough experience for the students sitting for an entrance exam. The dates were postponed again and again which demotivated the students. These students were the most effected. Many Upsc aspirants had to sell tea and biscuits and other stall so that they do not have to ask for money from there parents. Postponeding the exam also increased the stress in the student which resulted in declining interest in studies.
I would suggest such students to continue with there studies not leave it for a long period of time, keep revision, even for 1-2 hour. Regularity is what matters the most. Meditate, exercise and take healthy to keep yourself mentally and physically fit.
Pandemic and lockdown have been a challenge for the people around the world but all we can do is to wait patiently, with a positive attitude, hoping for a better tomorrow.

I think knowledge and score card both are equally important because if a person as the knowledge of the subject there is no way that they won’t be able to score good marks in the subject. Colleges and universities judges a person by there marks on the score card before checking there knowledge. Knowledge is a source to good marks and they are generally found together. Parents these day say that knowledge is important and not the marks. That is just to console there kids. That is not the truth. Students should make sure that they gain the knowledge not just to keep it with themselves but also so that it can be represented from there marks and score card. Score cards matter alot. If a student is very intelligent but due to some reason if he is not able to perform well and does not score good marks he won’t be called a good student, whereas an average student studies at the time of exam and score good marks he will be called a good student. There can be valid reasons to not score good marks but the student should keep studying, practicing and work hard in order to get good marks because excuses are not the one that people want to see sucess is the thing which is counted. Whether it’s an interview for a job, for higher education or for school giving marks are mandatory for all because the first thing is the marks on which a student is judged and shortlisted upon. For scoring marks it is important to understand the technique for scoring good marks. It is important to study smartly so that knowledge is used at the right place in order to gain good marks. And this mindset should be spread among people so that everyone makes sure they will be judged on there marks and not on the level of there knowledge and this can be taken up as an excuse.

The ART OF LIVING is how a person chooses to live there life . The way a person lives does not depends upon the amount of money they have but depends upon there choice. Sometimes it can be seen that a person with average salary has a better life style as compared to the people with with more money. It all depends on their creativity and thinking. Small amount of money and positive approach towards life helps a person to be happy enough but a person with a lot of money but not self satisfied or who keeps questioning themselves can actually never live a happy life. Happiness does not means lavish meals, rich clothes, a good amout of bank balance to be happy all that is needed is positive approach, self satisfaction, an urge to do better and also improvement in there life. A normal man who is happy with his performance related to economy family responsibilities definitely knows the art of living. Everyone has different parameters to decide how they can live a happy life. For some it means a lot of money, for some it’s enjoying life to the fullest, for some its a family life, for some it is bachelors. All that matter is happiness and not money. Everyone should keep high thinking and money is something which comes and goes away and if it does it can be earned back but thinking is a constant thing throughout. Positive and good thinking helps a person to move forward in life and keep the thoughts of there families inside them.
This pandemic taught us that no money, no shopping mall , restaurante, movie halls are constant and there is a life even without them. The thing that matter the most is the family and the loved ones. There are the constant components of our life.

Even though we have a lot of river and oceans but the water they have is very salty and cannot be consumed directly. That means only some amount of water is appropriate for intake. We should use the water effectively and make sure it is not wasted.
    Like for eg
    • If you have a pet make him bath in the lawn so that the water is not wasted and the grasses are being watered from the same.
    • Try taking shower in place of bathing as it requires lesser amount of water.
    • Do rainwater harvesting where the water collected during raining is used for different day to day work.
    • Take the amount of water that is needed in the glass for drinking if water is still left, put it in the plants.

Social media is an umbrella term. It has a lot of subtopics basically the different ways in which it has become helpful to us. From the traditionl use to connect to people around the world which it was actually started for to it’s advanced uses which are been in our day to day life like marketing, businesss etc. Social media is both a boon and bane for us depending on our uses. Small business owners who cannot have adequate money to invest on renting a shop can make a social media page and advertise from there only. There are a lot of social media pages for the students preparing for their competitive exam like the UPSC, BPSC, SSC banking etc. The housewives who are really good at cooking are able to share their skills and are taking orders by making their social media handles. There are a lot of people, the social media influencers are earnings lakh and crores through sharing their skills on social media. Through social media a person is capable of standing alone in the crowed and speaking without coordinating with any of the media houses. Like for eg- There’s a disaster due to the carelesness of the ministers, any news channel will not speak against the minister as there job will be in the danger but an individual person can take a stand and make a vedio regarding and share it on the social media to let people know the truth no one will be able to harm the person as we live in a democratic country and everyone has the right to express there thoughts. But everything has 2 sides depending on our usage. Teenagers and children come in the influence of the others and get all of there information to an unknown person which can cause a very big problem. Parents should teach there children what are the good and bad aspects of the social media and how it should be used to take it’s full positive advantage.
